I have just been on Mark's one day Negotiating Course which was actually very good.

What was really great about it was he brought in the psychology of negotiation. It was very practical in that sense, we all - everyone on the course got to sit down and work out what personallity type they were as well, so when they go in to deal with estate agents on purchases they can use that to their benefit rather than in a lot of cases if you didn't know about it it could be an adverse thing and may work against you. Which is a thing that a lot of people don't do.

The other thing that Mark covered really well in terms of negotiating, was looking at what the purchaser has on offer and how you can work with them to get best price, but so that it is an amicable agreement, so they feel that they are getting the best deal.

He also had some really helpful tips on looking out for the "Good Cop - Bad Cop" routine. And in general Mark is a really great guy, so I highly recommend the course.
